This is not quilt related but I don't think it's out of line to put this on our website for a little while.
If you use a credit or debit card while shopping please check your receipt immediately to make sure there is not a "cash back" transaction on it if you didn't get cash back!! It has happened in Texas and in Missoula that receipts have shown "cash back" when the customer did not get cash back.
Missoula Sheriff Detective Rick Newlon was at a local retailer the Friday after Thanksgiving and checked out with his debit card. He just happened to notice that his receipt said "$20 cash back". He had not asked for cash back nor had he been offered it by the clerk. When he questioned the clerk, the clerk said he must have "hit the wrong button".
Please be aware of this scam! Debbie Gross
We need a Chairperson for the QUILT TAKE DOWN.
This involves taking down the quilts, placing them in baggies with the quilter's NAME in front. Remove the quilts to a Pick-Up location, and put
them in alphabetical order. After comparing the name on the QUILT to the registration sheet they are required to bring, hand their quilt to them.
Lots of people will already be there to help you!

Fat Quarter Raffle Baskets for the Quilt Show
At the October meeting, members voted for the themes for the two yummy fat quarter baskets that will be raffled off at the Quilt Show in June. By far, the big favorites were "Black & White" and "Flannels." So now you have an excuse to go through your stash and find fat quarters to donate to the baskets. :-) As a reminder, a fat quarter is an 18" x 22" cut of fabric. Good quality cotton only, please. Let's fill those baskets, and remember, winning one of our raffles is way easier than winning the lottery!
